The cause of the crash is unknown; however, severe thunderstorms impacted South Florida in the Palm Beach region on Sunday.
The pilot was identified as Jeff Gregory, 55 and the co-pilot was identified as Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20.
Nathalia reportedly text her boyfriend, also a licensed pilot, 10 minutes before the crash: “I’ve got turbulence, I’ve got ice.”
According to TMZ, Texas tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson, 44, his wife, Helen Sharp and their two young children, Emma and Charlie were on the Learjet.
The Robinson family nanny, Anita Maria Cetina, and their two friends, Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr also died in the crash.

Onboard the Learjet 60 that crashed Sunday were 44-year-old Austin tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson, plus his wife Helen, their two kids, and two close friends … sources close to the family tell TMZ.

We broke the story … the captain was 55-year-old Jeff Gregory.
His co-pilot was 20-year-old Nathalia Gadelha. She earned her pilot’s license when she was just 17 years old, doing so before she even graduated high school.
Earlier this year, Adam Robinson posted a curious tweet about a plane crash.
You don’t need to crash a plane to learn to fly … and you don’t need VC to build a business.

Chilling ATC audio reveals the flight crew was struggling with moderate turbulence and ice before the crash.
“We’re descending 8,000 feet — mayday, mayday! We’re descending 10,000 feet per minute,” the co-pilot Nathalia Filgueiras shouted.
“We are in an overspeed condition, descending 20,000 feet per minute,” she screamed.
“We’re going to crash into the ground!” she shouted as Air Traffic Control offered help.
“We are descending 22,000 feet!” Nathalia shouted.
“Holy f*ck, we’re out of time!” Nathalia shouted as the audio cut off.
