Mr. Joe Gruters
Chairman,

Republican National Committee
310 First Street, SE
Washington, DC 20003

Dear Mr. Gruters:

I am no one special, just a concerned conservative.

This year, Democrats flipped 30 seats in special elections, and the GOP none, while President Donald J. Trump does so much for our country. How is this possible?

Forty Marxist/Leninists, so-called Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), have won their primaries. These are really Communists. However, saying “Communists” alone does not describe them well enough. Our schools have taught young Americans little to nothing about the evils of Communism, as in the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, North Korea, the Iron Curtain countries, and Cambodia’s Killing Fields. Whenever we say “Communists,” we must add that they destroy lives, civil liberties, and ownership rights, and mention the other evils they commit and for which they stand.

These Marxist/Leninists have won their primaries. Democrats, as well as Independents, should join the GOP and vote against them, with no need to switch parties. If they defeat our GOP candidates, they will join Bernie Sanders, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and the rest of The Squad. They will threaten our country with Communist-inspired programs that would destroy the country we know and love.

How was it possible that Congressional Democrats showed no empathy for the survivors of crimes the illegal aliens committed against Americans? During President Trump’s March 2025 address to Congress, Democrats refused to stand up for Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, 13, the black brain-cancer survivor who has become an honorary member of at least 203 police, sheriff, and law-enforcement organizations, including the Secret Service. The Democrats’ unanimous cold-heartedness surely offended tens of millions of voters.

Don’t regular Democrats see how their party has deteriorated through inexplicable Trump hatred? This is not even Bill Clinton’s Democrat Party.

The Democrats, during multiple government shutdowns that they triggered, shifted blame to the GOP and then flipped heavily pro-Trump seats. How?

The GOP needs to develop unorthodox strategies to flip Democrats and Independents, if we hope to increase our seats in the House and Senate on November 3. Millions of “low propensity” GOP voters only show up for presidential elections. We must change, and I hope President Trump’s successes will inspire them to show up and vote “R.”

Newly Trump-endorsed candidates neither should boast nor deny his endorsement, for there are many Never Trumpers. Somehow, MAGA has become a bad thing to some people. And Republican candidates should avoid talking about the GOP having more money than the Democrats. There are many rich Dems who will make up the difference, while GOP donors will stop feeling the need to contribute. But they should denounce the DSA candidates for being Communists and anti-Semites, again pointing out the evil that Communism  perpetrates.

Fewer people than we would like follow the news. So, many of them are less informed than they should be. For example, Johnny Belisario, Jesse Watters’ associate producer at Fox News Channel, frequently conducts man-on-the-street interviews. Many of these people seem college educated. And yet some will say, on camera, that Italy borders the USA. Another could not name our first president. A third could not divide a hundred by five.

Democrats weaponize words against us. We should do them better. Instead of saying, “If they win, they will impeach Trump,” we must say, “If the Democrats win, they will invent charges to impeach Trump.” When we mention “the Big, Beautiful Bill,” we must educate our opponents by calling it “the Big, Beautiful Bill, which ends taxes on tips, overtime, and some Social Security  benefits.”

We should deploy volunteers to strike up conversations for and against the GOP, to understand what regular people are thinking and gauge our ads and stump speeches accordingly.

We should ask flipped Democrats what triggered them to quit their former party. Our candidates should use this in their speeches. We will need to explain why Iran still fights us, and the prices of gasoline and goods are so high. When will this war end?

We should ask our candidates to dress for the office they seek. Appearance matters and is important to some voters.

We should limit showing Abdul El-Sayed or others clowning or acting silly, lest we give them too much free airtime, to our detriment.

We cannot afford to lose any of these coming elections. All hands on deck! Without feeling embarrassed, we should consult Lara Trump, Reince Priebus, Kelly Ann Conway, and even Ronna McDaniel for ideas that might cement our place: holding all three branches of government. These are different times, and our opponents hate America but enjoy the support of indoctrinated young people.

President Trump has provided plenty for our candidates to include in their stump speeches. We should use social media extensively and go on podcasts, TV, and such — even unfriendly outlets. Let the other side see us.

Bernie Sanders, an Independent, suggests that if James Carville, a long-standing Democrat, disagrees with the DSA, he should form his own party. That brazen takeover of the Democrat Party should be part of our criticism of Sanders’ candidates and Democrats in general.

Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jefferies, Hillary Clinton, and other elected and well-known Democrats welcome Hasan Piker, El Sayed,  Darializa Avila Chevalier, and all the others to their so-called “Big Tent.” This is one more thing to call out against the Democrats and their candidates.

To open “The Big Tent” to the DSA, just to win elections, is like drinking polluted water. It quenches your thirst but makes you sick. The Democrats are unpatriotic for not opposing them but, instead, inviting them into their ranks.

Many DSA followers are first-generation or recently nationalized Americans, from Egypt, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Somalia, Syria, Uganda, and such places. Somehow, Zohran Mamdani became mayor of New York City, and suddenly these DSA folks began running for offices all over the country. Are they part of a sleeper group that received a signal to go on the offensive? If so, what else should we expect from them?

We should suggest that Republicans, Democrats, and Independents watch Shark Tank on CNBC, Entrepreneurs on Cheddar,  and Million-Dollar Genius on The Story Channel, to show that capitalists take financial risks to get their innovations to the marketplace. The Smithsonian Channel’s How Do They Make This? shows how freedom of thought creates great things. Aerial America on The History Channel flies over U.S. cities and highlights this country’s beauty.

We should present the public footage and photos of pre-Castro and current Cuban bodegas, street scenes, and city buildings to document the deterioration that Communism causes. We must discourage voters from taking lightly the Marxists/Communists now running as Democrats.

Explain to voters that Capitalists include the Fords, Huntingtons, Kelloggs, Rockefellers, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, plus barbers, Uber drivers, doctors, mom-and-pop business owners, and others. Thanks to them, we enjoy good grooming, communications, great products, and conveniences that no government or political party could provide.

Capitalism is the multi-party political/governmental system that ensures freedom of speech, assembly, religion, and much more. It encourages capitalists to create and supply goods and services that make life more convenient and enjoyable. Capitalism is based on the individual making his own choices, not being controlled by other groups or the government.

Democracy is a multi-party system of government that allows some freedom while regulating via legislation most of the production and services and collecting very high taxes to offer some of these items for free. It suppresses initiative. And in some cases, it is the first phase of Communism.

Communism is the oppressive, atheistic, single-party government system that allows no freedom or deviation from the party-line. It, not individuals, seeks to own the production of goods and provision of services, promising, but failing, to make these things free for all. It performs miserably, causes shortages of all sorts, and, eventually, yields misery, persecution, and death, not the happiness it falsely promises.

Note: I have not signed this letter. I surrender ownership of it. I invite you to use any part of it you choose.
