Evacuations are underway on Sunday after a massive wildfire broke out in Los Angeles amid a blistering October heat wave.
Temperatures soared into the triple digits this weekend, and the winds began kicking up on Sunday.
According to CAL Fire, the “Bouquet Fire” broke out on Saturday afternoon in the Angeles National Forest to the east of Santa Clarita.

“This is a lawful order to leave now. The area is lawfully closed to public access,” LA County said of the affected area:

Evacuation warnings are in place for the following areas:

The wildfire spread to over 1,000 acres as of Sunday morning.
The blaze is currently 40% contained, CAL Fire said.
