Jamar Marquis Goff, the 23-year-old foster son of “Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond, was already in the system for biting a detention officer last year and has now been arrested for slapping a cop and carrying meth.

An officer found Goff shirtless and asleep by a fountain on the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus earlier this month.

Court papers say he told the officer he was waiting for someone to sell him “ice,” slang for meth.

The officer found an outstanding warrant and moved to cuff him, and Goff attempted to flee.

The chase ended at a hospital entrance, where investigators say he hit a uniformed female officer in the chin with an open palm.

Officers took him down and used pepper spray.

They found a glass pipe in his backpack and 1.8 grams of meth on him.

The Food Network star’s son was booked at Jefferson County Jail around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 15.

The charges include second-degree assault of a law-enforcement officer, attempting to elude, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond has been set at $37,000.

In May 2025, Goff was taken into custody after allegedly biting a detention officer’s hand.

Records from that period listed him as homeless and working at McDonald’s.

The contact number on the file was tied to Ree Drummond and identified her as “foster parent” without using her name, according to a report from Page Six.

Drummond has not issued a public statement on either arrest.

Ree and Ladd Drummond took Goff in as a teenager in 2018 after he grew close to their sons. He later played football at the University of Central Oklahoma.
