Far-left streamer Hasan Piker is facing a massive civil lawsuit in Florida after Larry Klayman, the founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch USA, accused him of inciting violence against Jews and Christians who support Israel.
Klayman filed the lawsuit pro se on September 10 in the Circuit Court for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County.
According to the complaint reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, Klayman is seeking more than $150 million in compensatory and actual damages, along with punitive damages, legal fees, injunctive relief, and a referral of the matter to the FBI.
Klayman alleges causes of action for reckless endangerment, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and declaratory and injunctive relief.
The lawsuit centers on comments Piker allegedly made during an August 20 Twitch broadcast.
“If Jews in America keep putting this idea out there … eventually someone’s going to come around and take action … against American Jews,” Piker allegedly said, according to the complaint.
Klayman argues that the statement was not merely a prediction, but an incitement aimed at American Jews who support Israel.
The complaint alleges that Klayman is especially vulnerable because he is a prominent Jewish and pro-Israel activist living in Boca Raton, Florida. Klayman claims Piker’s rhetoric has caused him to fear walking down the street or sitting at an outdoor café.
The filing also references other controversial statements allegedly made by Piker, including remarks praising Hamas over Israel, telling Jews to “go back to Auschwitz,” minimizing the October 7 atrocities, and declaring that “America deserved 9/11.”
Klayman describes Piker’s rhetoric as creating what he calls a “fatwa” against Jews who openly support Israel. He further alleges that Piker’s large online audience makes the comments especially dangerous.
“Piker has issued a fatwa against Jewish activist Zionists like me with the intention to harm and kill people like me. Piker yelled fire at Jews and Christians who support Israel. This is not free speech protected by the First Amendment! It’s far worse and much more dangerous than yelling fire in a crowded theatre, which is a crime,” Klayman wrote in the complaint.
The complaint asks the court to declare that Piker’s alleged pattern of speech constitutes unprotected incitement under the legal standard established in Brandenburg v. Ohio.
Klayman also seeks an injunction preventing Piker from publishing statements that allegedly threaten or dehumanize Jews who support Israel, where such speech is directed at producing imminent unlawful action.
The lawsuit was filed by Klayman’s Freedom Watch USA, which announced the case in a September 10 statement on Freedom Watch USA.
