President Trump on Wednesday announced the nomination of a new FDA Commissioner.

Trump nominated pro-MAHA Dr. Heidi Overton to replace Acting Commissioner Kyle Diamantas.

In May, Dr. Marty Makary resigned as FDA Commissioner.

Dr. Heidi Overton previously worked with RFK Jr and Dr. Oz to “deliver on the most transformative health agenda in history,” Trump said.
