The migrant shot and killed by ICE agents on Monday has been revealed, along with his final words. And the incident could soon turn into a mess for the Department of Homeland Security.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a driver in Biddeford, Maine, reportedly attempted to run over ICE agents during a targeted enforcement operation Monday morning, forcing the agents to fire their weapons in self-defense. The suspect was killed.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 7:20 AM at an intersection in Biddeford, Maine. Brave ICE heroes were conducting a targeted operation when an individual reportedly attempted to run over an agent.

Faced with an immediate threat to their lives, an agent was forced to draw their weapon and fire in clear self-defense, neutralizing the suspect. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

ICE later released a statement saying the individual was “an illegal alien with a final order of removal.” At the time, ICE agents were conducting targeted surveillance.

A family friend told Maine’s Total Coverage on Tuesday that the man killed was Joan Sebastian Guerrero.

Guerrero is a 26-year-old migrant originally from Colombia.

The friend says Guerrero leaves behind a wife, a 3-year-old child, and a sister.

Per claims by two left-wing organizations, Presente! and the Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition, Guerrero was authorized to work in the United States and had been issued a Social Security number.

Investigators, though, have not released Guerrero’s identity and are still waiting for more details on what happened.

71-year-old Daniel Boucher told NBC News that he heard several shots fired. He later saw Guerrero being pulled from a white Kia car.

Guerrero’s head was bleeding profusely.

“Nobody should have to see what I saw,” Boucher said.

Boucher also allegedly revealed the migrant’s final words before his death: “I tried to stop.”

This incident may be about to get messy for DHS if one believes Senator Angus King (D-ME).

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin allegedly told King that Guerrero was not the target of an arrest warrant.

“The victim of today’s federal law enforcement shooting was not the target of the warrant,” King’s spokesperson, Matthew Felling, said in a statement obtained by NBC. “Sen. King continues to emphasize the need for a full and transparent investigation.”

This is the second fatal ICE-involved shooting in less than a week.

Just days ago in Houston, an illegal alien from Mexico named Lorenzo Salgado Araujo rammed an ICE vehicle, ignored commands, and tried to run over an agent before being shot in self-defense.
