Female basketball player in a red Fever jersey speaks at a press conference, holding a water bottle, with empty stadium seats in the background.

Caitlin Clark Shares on Events This Past Week Since Her Injury

Caitlin Clark spoke for the first time since being injured and assaulted in her last game.

Last week, Clark was beaten by an opponent who kneed her in the groin, then shoved her fist on Clark’s throat and tried to stomp on her. The refs saw it and called no foul. The woman who did it – Alyssa Thomas – played the victim after she and her wife – DeWanna Bonner – attacked Clark.

Former NBA basketball announcer Dick Vitale and a former NBA team doctor commented on the constant attacks on Caitlin Clark.

After the event last week, Clark’s coach stood up for the perpetrator and ignored Clark being attacked.

How can she see this and provide an answer like she did.

The WNBA commissioner backed the abuser as well. No word about Clark being assaulted.

The corrupt media ignored the beatings Clark receives (she was out for half the season last year after being beaten so much). Outlets like ESPN give Clark terrible press despite her being the best player in the league.

Clark mentioned today that she saw some of the news.  She said the league and the refs need to be better.

She reminded the press that she is only 24 and shared that she will not be able to play her next game.

Overall, Clark did another excellent interview, showing another reason why she is so liked.  It’s not just her epic basketball playing; it’s who she is.
