On Friday, Bill Maher was joined by radical democrat Congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA) who went on a sychophantic diatribe on how “wonderful’ socialist Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani,is.
But Maher wasn’t having it, reminding Khanna that the mayor “pals around’ with terrorists.
Maher also took issue with Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, publicly celebrating the radical terrorist actions of Hamas when they attacked civilians on October 7, 2023.
According to a report from Jewish Insider (JI), Duwaji, a Syrian-American artist, liked Instagram posts just hours after the murderous attacks that celebrated the attacks and expressed anti-Israel rhetoric.
One post featured disturbing images of the depraved assault that left 1,200 dead and 250 more taken hostage to be brutally abused.
The report also notes Duwaji reportedly liked another post about a protest after Oct. 7, which featured the genocidal statement, “FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE!”
During “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the host asked Khanna if he considers Mamdani is “a great one.”
Maher: You think Mumdani is a great one, huh?
Khanna: I do. I mean, did you see his Knicks speech? I mean, anyone—
Maher: Not the issue that most concerned me. I don’t need….
Khanna: It’s worth a watch because the speech was not just about the Knicks. First of all, he like recites every Knicks player. I mean, I couldn’t do that about the 49ers.
Maher: Who gives a shit about the Knicks? He’s the mayor of New York.
Khanna: Well, yeah, but he talks about how it’s actually bringing people together, Trump voters, Mumdani voters, how it’s overcoming the odds. And he took a speech gave a speech that was just about celebrating the championship, and he made something bigger about it.
Maher: Okay, well, it doesn’t make me forget that his wife loved October 7th attack on Israel and that he pals around with terrorists.
Khanna: No, come on. Have you had him on the show?
Maher: We ask people like that, Ro. They never come.
Khanna: I’ll talk to him.
Maher: I would love that.
Khanna: I think he should come.
Maher: I think he should, too. I do, too. I would love to talk to him.
Khanna: He’s a smart guy, and I think you would find—
Maher: I’m not saying he’s not a smart guy. He went to the White House. Yeah, I mean, he took— he went there, but he can’t come here.
Khanna: Yeah, he should come here.
Maher: He should come here. Oh, so should AOC. So should all of the Democrats.
Khanna: They should come here. You don’t bite. You’re fine.
Maher: I voted for them, not him.

Khanna leaned on the Knicks to make his point. Maher leaned on October 7th.
MAHER: “So you think Mamdani is a great one, huh?”

Mamdani’s questionable ties are numerous.
He openly campaigned at a mosque alongside Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
His campaign benefited from an extensive activist network connecting Marxist and Islamist movements, several of which are under congressional scrutiny for foreign and extremist groups linked to Hamas.
Mamdani’s personal ties to this broader ideological network trace back to college and his involvement with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), which he credits as the start of his political activism.
SJP, founded by Hatem Bazian, operates under the umbrella of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), which publicly praised Hamas following the October 7 attacks on Israel.
SJP’s leadership includes individuals previously involved with Hamas-linked organizations such as the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) and the Holy Land Foundation, both shut down or sanctioned for financing or coordinating with Hamas.
