Vice President JD Vance appeared on Fox’s late-night show “Gutfeld!” on Tuesday, where he revealed how he was treated behind the scenes by the hags on The View.

Gutfeld described the appearance on The View as “brave,” asking Vance how it went.

“Honestly, Greg, I expected them to be absolutely vicious, and they were only a little bit vicious. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be,” Vance revealed, further divulging in behind-the-scenes conversations.

“Behar even said during the break, not joking, she said, ‘You know what, you’re like pretty good for a Republican, and I was like, ‘Whoa, that is a way better compliment than I expected from Joy Behar,” he said.

Then Vance made a somewhat cringeworthy joke about left-right politics, but A for effort. “I gotta say, I thought that Sonny, the woman to my left, was gonna call me a racist. In reality, it was Whoopi, the woman to my right, who called me a racist. So expectations were defied,” he added.

“Well, you know why Sunny can’t call you a racist, because as you know, her ancestors were slave owners,” Host Greg Gutfeld responded before a deafening silence.

“Look it up! Why would I make that up? It was on that thing where she sees her family history,” he said, appearing to confuse his co-hosts. Former pro wrestler Tyrus joked that Gutfeld “should have asked the black guy” before confirming that he spoke the truth. “Yeah, and apparently, her family also believed in free labor,” Tyrus said.

Gutfeld’s comment about Hostin’s ancestors was, in fact, true. It can be recalled that during a 2024 appearance on PBS’ Finding Your Roots, Hostin was shocked when she discovered that she descends from slave owners.

“Wow, I’m a little bit in shock,” she said. “I didn’t think my family was originally from Spain and slave holders… I guess it’s a fact of life that this is how some people made their living.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, both Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin ganged up on Vance, attacking him for so-called racism and racist policies.

The two started crashing out over “human rights” and black women losing their jobs.

Out of nowhere, Hostin claimed that “black history has been erased from public spaces,” putting Vance on defense before they cut him off with a commercial break.
