Fireworks erupted on CNN last night as a far-left political hack completely lost it on famous Canadian businessman Kevin O’ Leary, aka “Mr. Wonderful,” during an explosive debate on redistricting.

As TGP readers know, Democrats have suffered a string of recent defeats in the redistricting wars over the past week. These include the Virginia State Supreme Court ruling overturning the results of a referendum last month that would have given Democrats four more congressional seats at Republicans’ expense, and the U.S. Supreme Court allowing Alabama to get rid of its currently rigged map.

A host of panelists debated the recent ruling on Monday’s edition of “CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip,” and it went as poorly as one could expect.

During the debate, CNN contributor Bakari Sellers decided to invoke race and to give O’ Leary a ridiculous lecture on the civil rights movement. O’Leary was undoubtedly not happy because he was already perfectly familiar and knew Sellers was trying to paint him as an old white racist.

This caused Sellers to completely lose his mind, as he lashed out at O’Leary, calling him “utterly disrespectful.” Then, he doubled down by calling “Mr. Wonderful” a d*ck.

O’Leary did not back down, pointing out that the Constitution is being upheld and asking whether he had a problem with it.

Things got heated enough that host Abby Phillip had to step in and beg them to stop.

SELLERS: You were born in 1954…You’re 71. During your lifetime, we’ve actually had Brown V. Board of Education.

O’LEARY: I remember.

SELLERS: I don’t know how you remember, you were like two months old.

SELLERS: My mother was born in 1951, my father was shot in the civil rights movement…

O’LEARY: And?

SELLERS: I’m going to finish because you’re being utterly disrespectful…Don’t be a d*ck!

O’LEARY: I’m not a d*ck! I’m pointing something out to you. The Constitution is being upheld.

What’s the problem with that? Do you have a problem with the Constitution of the United States of America?

PHILLIP: I’m going to stop you, because I want everyone to reset with a modicum of respect at this table. Please stop.
