Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy ripped the Biden Regime after Spirit Airlines folded.
Spirit Airlines early Saturday morning went under and began winding down its operations after more than 33 years in business.
Spirit said all flights have been canceled and it is working to process refunds for customers.

The Biden Regime’s finest, Pete Buttigieg, boasted about supporting the DOJ’s lawsuit to block the Spirit-JetBlue merger back in 2023.
“Americans deserve robust competition & affordable airfares. USDOT supports DOJ’s antitrust lawsuit, & we plan to deny the JetBlue-Spirit request for an exemption on their merger deal. We will continue with our own investigation while supporting DOJ’s work,” the former small town mayor-turned-Transportation Secretary said in 2023.

Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren also cheered the blocking of the Spirit-JetBlue merger.

Sean Duffy blasted the Biden Administration during a press conference on Saturday.
“There was a proposed merger between JetBlue and Spirit, and Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg, along with the Biden DOJ, decided that they did not want that merger to take place,” Duffy said.
“And at the time, the Biden and Buttigieg DOJ bragged and said as they canceled the option for this merger, that this was a victory for US travelers who deserve lower prices and better choices,” Sean Duffy said during a presser on Saturday.
“And this today would indicate this is not better for travelers, this is not better for pricing, this is not better for competition, actually it’s worse. We had an airline go down because the markets were trying to allow two airlines to merge, make them stronger, and offer more competition for the American consumer,” Duffy said.
“Also Elizabeth Warren at the time cheered the blocking of the merger…” Duffy added.
