Investigative journalist Katie Daviscourt was violently mobbed and had a rock thrown at her face by masked Antifa militants while attempting to report on their May Day riot outside the federal ICE facility on Friday night.

Despite having security present, Daviscourt, a reporter for The Post Millennial and Human Events, was forced to abandon her work as black-bloc extremists swarmed her in what she described as a coordinated “direct action” organized by the domestic terrorist group Antifa.

Daviscourt livestreamed the attack and posted a clip to X shortly after it happened.

In the post with the video, Daviscourt wrote, “It’s impossible for me to do my job down at the Portland ICE facility, even with security. I was violently mobbed out by Antifa, and a suspect in black bloc threw a rock at my face.”

“I have zero desire to discuss this further, but everyone is tired of it and wondering why a crackdown on Antifa — a terrorist organization— has not yet occurred.”

WATCH:

In the video, a frenzied mob in black bloc surrounds her, shouting threats as she tries to document the ongoing illegal occupation at the facility.

The masked militants scream at her to “RUN” after pelting her with a rock and chasing her down a dark road.

The Portland ICE facility has been under a near-constant illegal 24-hour anti-ICE encampment and protest for more than 75 days.

Daviscourt has identified her attackers as longtime “security” operatives for Rose City Antifa, whose explicit role is to intimidate and remove perceived opposition journalists and activists. She says the pair has targeted her since at least 2020 in Seattle.

Last year, the same couple told her on camera, “People like you shouldn’t ever feel safe.”

WATCH:

Daviscourt has been sounding the alarm on the Portland ICE occupation for months.

In an August 2025 post Daviscourt re-posted today, she warned that Antifa had grown “emboldened” after a judge ruled Portland Police did not have to enforce laws at the site. She called for the Trump administration to immediately deploy the National Guard, establish a secure perimeter with checkpoints and curfews, and protect federal property and journalists.

No arrests have been reported for the assault.
