Cole Allen, the California man who stormed the lobby of the Washington Hilton on Saturday night and opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, was arraigned in federal court in DC on Monday.

The 31-year-old was previously charged with using a firearm during a crime of violence and assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon.

On Monday, Allen was hit with a total of 3 charges: Attempting to assassinate the president of the United States, transporting a firearm and ammunition with intent to commit a felony and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.
