There have been some disturbing updates on the horrific mass shooting yesterday in Shreveport, Louisiana that are downright shocking.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra MacDonald reported, eight children ranging in age from 18 months to 14 years old were killed early Sunday morning after what is being called “a domestic dispute” escalated into a mass shooting in Louisiana.

The shootings occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday. A total of 10 people were shot during the incident.

In addition to the eight children who died, two adult women were also shot and survived their injuries. Police suspected that some of the child victims were related to the suspect.

Now, The New York Post has revealed that the person responsible for this incredibly evil act is 31-year-old Shamar Elkins, a U.S. Army Veteran. Police confirmed the incident was sparked by an argument with his wife around 6 a.m. Sunday.

The paper also unveiled something even more shocking: The murdered victims of Elkin were HIS OWN CHILDREN and their cousin.

The children were identified as Jayla Elkins, 3, Shayla Elkins, 5, Kayla Pugh, 6, Layla Pugh, 7, Markaydon Pugh, 10, Sariahh Snow, 11, Khedarrion Snow, 6, and Braylon Snow, 5. The Post notes that Elkins fathered seven of the children and was an uncle to the eighth victim but it’s unclear which of the eight dead was the cousin.

Shamar Elkins also shot the two mothers of his children during his rampage. According to Shreveport Police Department spokesman Christopher Bordelon, Elkins’ wife was shot in the face at the home with the eight kids.

The other injured victim is Elkins’ girlfriend, who was shot in a separate house nearby.

Per NBC News, Elkins was killed by police after he fled in a carjacked vehicle.

Crystal Brown, one of the surviving women’s cousins told the Associated Press that Elkins shared four of the children with his wife and three with the other injured woman.

Brown also said Elkins and his wife were in the middle of separation proceedings and were due in court on Monday. She added that the two were arguing about their relationship when Elkins shot her. .

Bordelon also revealed another chilling detail: most of the children were executed while they slept while another child another was killed on the roof while trying to escape.

Innocent little children who were gunned down in their sleep and another while fleeing for their life. Evil is not a strong enough word.
