Iran’s regime is now openly encouraging civilians, including children and young people, to serve as human shields around the nation’s power plants.

The sick initiative comes as the Islamic Republic braces for a devastating military strike promised by President Donald Trump if Tehran fails to meet his Tuesday 8:00 PM deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Now, facing “Stone Age” consequences promised by the American Commander-in-Chief, the regime is doubling down on its favorite tactic: Targeting the innocent to save their own hides.

The initiative, spearheaded by Alireza Rahimi, Iran’s Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs and Secretary of the Supreme Youth Council, has been branded “Iran’s Youth Human Chain for a Bright Future,” and is being promoted nationwide as a show of solidarity with the regime, according to Iran International.

Rahimi called on “young people, athletes, artists, students and professors” to gather around power plants at a designated time, reportedly Tuesday at 2 p.m. local time, forming protective human barriers around key infrastructure.

State-linked messaging has amplified the call, with broadcasts urging widespread participation.

This comes as President Donald Trump has issued a firm deadline demanding Iran reopen the Strait of Hormuz, warning that failure to comply could result in devastating strikes on Iran’s infrastructure, including power plants and bridges.

Trump has reportedly stated that Iran’s infrastructure could be destroyed in a matter of hours if the regime refuses to back down.

Last month, the U.S. government formally accused Iran of deliberately placing military assets and infrastructure within or near civilian areas, including schools, hospitals, and residential neighborhoods, thereby endangering its own population and violating international humanitarian law.

“U.S. Central Command has warned the Iranian people to stay home because the Islamic Republic is now storing missile and drone launchers in civilian neighborhoods as American and Israeli military forces try to destroy the weapons.”
