President Donald Trump has declared the war against the terrorist regime in Iran “very complete,” with the U.S. military obliterating Iran’s navy and air force far ahead of schedule.
As The Gateway Pundit has extensively reported, Iran’s proxies have been attacking U.S. interests for over two decades, funding terrorism and threatening global stability.
Just last week, we detailed how before Trump’s strikes, Iran and its proxies had been attacking America relentlessly, including funding anti-Israel protesters right here in the U.S. and plotting assassinations against Trump himself.
According to a report from CBS News correspondent Weijia Jiang, President Trump said in a phone interview that the United States has effectively dismantled Iran’s military capabilities and is far ahead of the timeline originally projected for the operation.
“In a phone interview, President Trump told me the war could be over soon: “I think the war is very complete, pretty much. They have no navy, no communications, they’ve got no Air Force.” He added that the U.S. is “very far” ahead of his initial 4-5 week estimated time frame,” Jiang wrote.

Trump also revealed he has no message whatsoever for Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who recently assumed power after the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, during the early days of the conflict
Asked about Iran’s new Supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who Trump has openly criticized, he said, “I have no message for him. None, whatsoever.” Trump said he has someone in mind to replace Khamenei, but he did not elaborate.

The president also hinted at a dramatic move involving the Strait of Hormuz, the critical global oil chokepoint through which roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil passes.
Trump said ships are currently moving through the strait but indicated the U.S. may consider taking control of the waterway.
“As for the Straight of Hormuz, Trump noted that ships are moving through now, but he is “thinking about taking it over.” Trump warned Iran, “They’ve shot everything they have to shoot, and they better not try anything cute or it’s going to be the end of that country.”

Despite the rapid military progress, Trump indicated that the decision on when to officially end the campaign will be made in coordination with America’s closest ally in the region, Israel, according to The Times of Israel.
President Trump revealed Monday that he will confer with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about when to end the military campaign against Iran.
“I think it’s mutual… a little bit. We’ve been talking. I’ll make a decision at the right time, but everything’s going to be taken into account,” Trump said.
