The radical left is having another total meltdown, and as usual, failed sports commentator and professional rage-tweeter Keith Olbermann is leading the charge.
Keith Olbermann erupted on social media in an unhinged tirade against the U.S. Men’s Olympic Hockey Team after they accepted an invitation from President Donald Trump to attend the State of the Union address this week.
President Trump congratulated the men’s team following their dramatic 2-1 overtime victory over Canada to win Olympic gold, and publicly extended the honor of attending the State of the Union as part of a celebration of American achievement.
Players in the locker room enthusiastically responded with shouts of “We’re in!” and “Thank you, Mr. President”.
Patel told Trump, “I got it, Boss, I got it… I’m f***ing on it.”
Trump told the men that he would also be inviting the gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic women’s hockey team, adding he would probably be impeached if he didn’t.

The U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team, which also won gold in Milan, was formally invited but has declined the invitation to the State of the Union.
A USA Hockey spokesperson cited “previously scheduled academic and professional commitments” as the reason for their inability to attend, according to NBC News.
“We are sincerely grateful for the invitation extended to our gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team and deeply appreciate the recognition of their extraordinary achievement. Due to the timing and previously scheduled academic and professional commitments following the Games, the athletes are unable to participate.”
According to a report by far-left HuffPost, Team USA women’s hockey player Kelly Pannek spoke out against federal immigration enforcement actions in her home region following a fatal shooting involving immigration agents earlier this year.
Pannek, who is from the Minneapolis area, criticized what she described as “unnecessary and just horrifying” enforcement tactics after federal agents shot and killed 37-year-old Minneapolis resident Alex Pretti on January 24, 2026.
On X, Olbermann blasted the men’s team as “self-absorbed scumbag misogynists” for publicly accepting Trump’s invitation, accusing them of disrespecting the U.S. Women’s Hockey Team.

In a separate tweet, unhinged Olbermann hailed the women’s hockey team as “true patriots” and the only real Americans left in sports for snubbing the Commander-in-Chief.
“The women’s team is made up of patriots. The men’s team? Self-absorbed scumbag misogynists.”
