Rap superstar Nicki Minaj has thrown her support behind Trump-branded savings accounts, a tax-advantaged programme designed to help children build long-term wealth.
Minaj appeared Wednesday alongside Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent at a Washington summit promoting the initiative and personally has between $150,000 and $300,000 of her own money.
The accounts, formally known as Section 530A accounts, will operate in a similar fashion to individual retirement accounts but are tailored for minors.
“If I had access to something like this, my whole life would have been different,” Minaj said at the summit.
“I’m probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change,” she continued.
“And the ‘hate’ or what people have to say does not affect me at all.”

Under the programme, children born between 2025 and 2028 qualify for an initial $1,000 deposit from the U.S. Treasury, provided parents opt in when opening the account.
A growing list of major employers and financial institutions have also pledged to match the federal contribution for employees’ children.
Treasury Secretary Bessent said Wednesday that approximately 600,000 families have already applied for Trump accounts since the start of the 2026 tax season, pointing to rapid early uptake of the scheme.
Last month, Minaj appeared alongside Turning Point CEO Erika Kirk at the organization’s America Fest summit in Arizona, the first since the assassination of its founder Charlie Kirk.
During her appearance, she slammed Gavin “Newscum” for hisembrace far-left ideology.
“Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids,” she said.
”Not even a trans adult would run on that. Normal adults want to see happy safe kids.”
