Fox News, CNBC, and MS NOW are reporting that J6 pipe bomb suspect Brian Cole “expressed doubts about the 2020 election outcome.”
After nearly five years, the January 6 pipe bomber was arrested by the FBI on Thursday.
Brian Cole, 30, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was taken into custody and charged with use of an explosive device and attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials.
Cole planted pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters on January 5, the night before the Capitol riot.
The Daily Wire reported on Thursday evening that Cole’s family sued the Trump DHS over illegal immigration and asked Biden’s DOJ to address anti-black racism.
“Weeks before 30-year-old Cole Jr. allegedly planted pipe bombs at the headquarters of the Democrat and Republican parties on January 5, 2021, a court ruled against the company in its lawsuit attacking the Trump administration on immigration issues, The Daily Wire has learned. An FBI affidavit in the case notes that the suspect works for a bail bond company and lives with his mother,” The Daily Wire’s Luke Rosiak reported.
“Later in 2021, the company held a press conference bemoaning anti-black racism with a left-wing attorney. Cole Sr. and Benjamin Crump, who represented the family of Trayvon Martin, attempted to sic the Biden Department of Justice on a local Tennessee prosecutor who had raised questions about the bail bond company,” the Daily Wire reported.
According to Fox News and other legacy media outlets, Brian Cole admitted to planting the explosive devices outside the RNC and DNC on January 5.
The media is now calling Brian Cole a “Trump supporter.”
On Thursday evening, CNN’s Jake Tapper called the black pipe bomb suspect a “white man.”
Now he’s a Trump supporter with “anarchist” views.
Fox News reported:
The accused D.C. pipe bomber has been speaking with investigators for hours, admitting he planted the devices and expressing doubts about the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, a source close to the investigation tells Fox News.
The explosive devices were placed near the Republican and Democratic National Committees’ headquarters on Capitol Hill just hours before the Jan. 6, 2021 congressional certification that erupted into riots by demonstrators.
The suspect, Brian Cole Jr., is scheduled to make a federal court appearance later Friday for a first appearance before a magistrate as FBI interviews with him continue. He has not yet entered a plea.
A second source tells Fox News that the suspect’s possible motivation is just one piece of information developed early in an active, ongoing investigation and that no full picture of the suspect has emerged.
But the suspect’s statements about the 2020 election and his apparent support for President Donald Trump may offer a hint at a possible motive for allegedly planting the pipe bombs, which did not detonate.
Brian Cole made his first appearance in court before a magistrate judge in DC.
He has not entered a plea at this time.
This article will be updated as Brian Cole’s court appearance gets underway.
