In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Hollywood actor Josh Brolin, shared his personal health scare involving a diagnosis of Bell’s palsy, which host Joe Rogan suggested might be linked to mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

Brolin, known for his roles in Avengers: Endgame and No Country for Old Men, described the onset of his condition, mentioning it developed during a particularly stressful time after moving.

“I contracted a mild case of Bell’s palsy,” Brolin said, describing the symptoms as “stress-induced” at first.

“So literally, [I] was stressing out… I’m washing my face, and I’m doing this, and [my face] just started going [sagging].”

Rogan quickly pointed to the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine as a possible culprit.

“That’s a side effect of the vaccine, too,” Rogan said bluntly. “That’s one of the side effects of COVID-19 vaccines.”

The candid exchange took a deeper dive into the increasing number of vaccinations required for children today, compared to previous decades. Brolin, a father, expressed his concerns:

Josh Brolin: I’ve also heard that—speech impediments. I’ve heard a lot of things. Kids taking vaccines and things happening.

Joe Rogan: Yeah. That vaccine in particular. That one. The mRNA one. Yeah. I know quite a few people that developed Bell’s palsy from them. Well, whatever you want to call it.

Josh Brolin: Are you serious?

Joe Rogan: Yeah. Facial paralysis. Yeah. I know two people, specifically, that developed facial droopy face.

Josh Brolin: Because when my older kids— It went away. When my older kids were young, there were what? Seventeen vaccinations? And now that my younger kids are young, there’s 52.

Joe Rogan: Seventy-two.

Josh Brolin: Yeah.

Joe Rogan: Yeah, it’s a series of them, but it’s ultimately 72 shots.

The conversation also touched on the societal and professional repercussions of questioning vaccine safety.

Rogan lamented the treatment of public figures like Jenny McCarthy, who claimed her son developed autism from a vaccination, and how such positions could lead to being ostracized or labeled as anti-vaccine.

“Well, the f***ed-up thing is, if you talk about it, you’re an anti-vaxxer,” the podcast host continued. “They’ve done a really good job of demonizing anyone who questions a medicine that might be correlated with a bunch of f***ing serious diseases. They’ve done a great job of gaslighting people.”

Brolin echoed Rogan’s sentiment, agreeing that the push to silence dissent often boils down to financial interests.

“Let’s not assault your children with a potential poison,” Brolin stated.
