President Trump speaks to reporters at the White House

President Trump erupted with rage after Ukraine attacked a Russian oil hub, right after Trump’s deal with Putin to supply diesel to the United States, calling on Ukraine to “get a new President.”

Overnight, Ukraine launched an attack on the Russian oil export terminal and set it ablaze, just hours after Trump announced a diesel agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Gateway Pundit reported. Millions of tons of ewly un-sanctioned Russian diesel would have flowed to the US through the export hub.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had attacked the deal on Friday, saying, “It looks like a happy birthday present for Putin. It looks absolutely terrible.”

When asked about criticism of the deal on Saturday, Trump went off on Zelensky, slamming him for refusing to settle the war and for hitting Russian oil refineries, as well as blaming him for high US diesel prices.

“Zelensky could have settled this war many times, many, many times, and he chooses not to — very difficult. It’s a war that should have never been started. If I were president, if the election weren’t rigged, I would have been president, and that war would have never started,” Trump said.

“But he could have settled it many times, and he chose not to. We said you can do whatever you want to Russia; don’t hit the refineries because that’s a world problem that’s caused, and he wants to make problems for the world. He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers, with diesel fuel, because Russia supplies a large portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world.”

“We told him, do whatever you want, but don’t hit the diesel fuel because there’s a big problem, a big shortage. And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel. He can do whatever he wants, but you can’t do that because we have a world problem, and the problem is caused by the lack of refineries for diesel fuel. So what does he do? He goes and hits refineries,” Trump added.

“he better damn well stop!”

When a reporter mentioned the “suffering” in Ukraine, Trump went off again, saying, “Well, I agree with you, and you know what I suggest?”

“I suggest they get a new leader who can make a deal because he could have made many deals, and for some reason, he never does. And let me go a step further. If I were president, you wouldn’t have ever had that war,” Trump added.

“You’ve lost 30 percent of your country, and you’ve had over a million people killed. Between the two of them, over 2 million people killed. That’s a war that should have never started. And I think it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president.”

Trump previously responded to Zelensky on Friday, before their latest attack, with a softer tone, shrugging off his comments.

“We need oil for the world, and this is diesel, which is what we need. So, we’re very happy to get it,” Trump told reporters. “Look, we need it. Oil prices are already dropping like a rock, so we’re very happy to get it. ”

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Friday, Trump announced an agreement to import diesel fuel from Russia after speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter,” Trump said, assuring Americans that diesel prices “will be COMING DOWN, IN RECORD NUMBERS, AND FAST!”
