Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, the two candidates running for U.S. Senate in Michigan, had a debate tonight.

Let’s just say it was a good night for the Rogers campaign. He did very well and you can watch some highlights below.

In this clip, El-Sayed hits Rogers for having a home in Florida. Rogers reminds the audience that El-Sayed has a home in the United Arab Emirates, then says, ‘at least Florida is in the United States.’

In this clip, Rogers reminds the audience that El-Sayed is not actually a licensed doctor, despite claims from his supporters.

Here, Abdul El-Sayed is asked which country is a greater threat to the United States, Israel or Iran. It’s such an easy question and yet he refuses to answer.

In this clip, Rogers mentions the fact that El-Sayed’s mother worked for a group with ties to Al-Qaeda. Just brutal.

Finally, we’ll leave you with this video of a woman who claims to be a lifelong Democrat who is voting Republican for the first time, for Mike Rogers.

El-Sayed’s far left act served him pretty well in the Democrat primary.

It does not seem to be working in the general.
