Senator Mitch McConnell’s Chief of Staff, Terry Carmack, was pressed by The Gateway Pundit reporter, Myles Morell, on the Senator’s health status and his cognitive abilities to do his job in the Senate.

Upon spotting Carmack, Morell asked him if he believed that pushing the Senator around in a wheelchair is a good look for both him and Carmack. Morell received no response.

Morell was then joined by independent journalists Aulden Nance and Anthony Pellegrino, with Nance questioning Carmack if he is concerned over the Senator’s legacy.

Pellegrino then asked if McConnell is able to talk and communicate clearly with Carmack “behind closed doors.” He received no response.

Morell and Nance continued to press Carmack on McConnell’s failure to give any public video statements since his extended absence from the Senate starting in June, while Pellegrino asked about what closed-door communications are like once again.

Morell ended the interaction by asking Carmack if he would address public concerns about the Senator’s ability to do his job properly, resulting in nothing but crickets once again.

Carmack refused to answer a single question and had a smug look on his face the entire time.

This is not the first time Morell has pressed Carmack with questions regarding the Senator’s health status. Back in August Carmack both figuratively and literally, ducked and dodged questions after he was spotted leaving the Senator’s Washington, DC home.

Morell also encountered Carmack just moments before McConnell made his first public appearance in over three months.

The McConnell cover-up is reminiscent of the Joe Biden cognitive cover-up by Democratic elites during the 2024 election cycle, which was exposed after his disastrous debate performance back in June, 2024.

Another major example was Senator Dianne Feinstein, who would also be pushed around Capitol Hill in a wheelchair in the final years leading up to her death.

Carmack’s smug look while being asked these important questions represents the nature of these Capitol Hill elitists that many believe are secretly running the show behind the scenes.

He’s been caught giving McConnell instructions on how to vote and makes a jaw-dropping salary of $226,850 a year. He is still getting paid despite McConnell’s three-month absence from the Senate.

The elites continue to play games with the American people by keeping around elderly politicians who clearly do not have the cognitive ability to perform their duties, just so they can maintain their own power.

This is elder abuse, and they continue to laugh in our faces about it. Do they think we’re stupid or something?
