Sturgeon would do well to remain silent.
Under the disastrous Labour rule, the United Kingdom is under risk of dismantlement, as leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland plan independence referendums. And now, a disgraced former leader is openly calling for the end of Monarchy.
Nicole Sturgeon resigned as Scottish Prime Minister back in 2023, in the wake of a scandal in which her husband, Peter Murrell, stole over half a thousand dollars from SNP party funds to fund their sumptuous lifestyle.
Murrell, now reportedly estranged from her, pled guilty to the crimes, and was sentenced in June 2026 to 5 years in prison.
Not content to pretend this debacle had nothing to do with her, Sturgeon now walks out in the public arena to call for the abolition of the British Monarchy.
This comes as she has been reported to the police for keeping goods bought to her by Murrell using stolen money.

“The monarchy should be abolished to free Prince George from the burden of becoming king, Nicola Sturgeon has said.
Scotland’s former first minister said it was unfair that the 13-year-old prince had no control over his destiny, and suggested that scrapping the monarchy would be considerate.
Nicola Sturgeon stated her case in a new Channel 4 documentary, The Royals: Time To Go, presented by John Humphrys, an avowed republican.”
“She continued: ‘In fact, I would say one of the arguments for getting rid of the monarchy is for the sake of members of the Royal Family, like Prince George, for example. That kid doesn’t know any different. He has a certain life ahead of him that he has no choice over. Is that really fair?’”
Yes, you read it right. Her unbelievable argument is end the Monarchy to ‘free the future members of the Royal Family from carrying that burden’.

This unwelcome tirade comes just as Sturgeon has been reported to the police for keeping ‘stolen goods’ bought by her husband that has been jailed for embezzlement.
The Telegraph reported:
“Stuart Campbell, who runs the pro-independence blog Wings over Scotland, said he had written to Police Scotland to make a formal complaint. […] Mr. Campbell said Ms. Sturgeon ‘has for some years been in the possession of numerous high-value items paid for by her husband Peter Murrell with money embezzled from the Scottish National Party’.
He alleged that the former SNP leader was guilty of “reset”, an offence in Scots law whereby a person is in possession of property stolen by someone else.
It can apply to those who knew an item was stolen when they received it, or if they acquired it in good faith and later discovered it was stolen but decided to keep it anyway.”
