A Catholic priest and diocesan exorcist just said what millions of normal Americans have been thinking since hundreds of women in matching pink shirts showed up outside a Massachusetts courthouse to cheer for a mother who strangled her three children.
Fr. Dan Reehil, pastor of St. Catherine of Siena in Columbia, Tennessee, and the official exorcist for the Diocese of Nashville, did not mince words in his homily for the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.
“Let me tell you, this Lindsay Clancy debacle, there is no universe that exists where a man would kill 3 of his children and be going to the courthouse and hundreds of men would show up to rally behind him. That world doesn’t exist,” Reehil said.
“But somehow there’s women out there that think this is a good thing. So now we are promoting killing children outside the womb. Is this not crazy. This is crazy.”
He continued: “Yes, I understand she was on all these drugs and all the other things. Seek help. You’re a grown woman. This is a catastrophe that one, that this thing happened at all, and we should pray for her. I think she has demons, to be honest. But these women that are behind her—insanity is reigning in many places.”
Then came the line that landed like a sledgehammer:
“If you’re dating a woman right now who is a supporter of this woman who killed her children, cut bait and run for your life. Because one day you’ll be having kids with her, and she thinks this is okay. I’m serious. That’s a big impediment for me in a marriage.”
Catholic priest Father Dan Reehil delivered a blistering rebuke of the women publicly rallying behind Lindsay Clancy.
Then came his blunt advice for unmarried men: “If you’re dating a woman right now who is a supporter of this woman who killed her children, cut bait and run for…

Hundreds of women gathered outside Plymouth Superior Court wearing “Peace for Lindsay” and “She Needed Help” shirts, forming heart shapes with their hands and reciting the Lord’s Prayer for the woman who killed three kids. Some brought their own children. Organizers said they were standing up for “women being dismissed.” They were standing up for a woman who strangled an 8-month-old.
That is the world Fr. Reehil called out. There is no parallel movement for a father who does the same thing.
The Gateway Pundit previously highlighted the contrast: a South Carolina father who strangled his five children during what his lawyers called a schizophrenic psychotic break was sentenced to death after a jury deliberated two hours. Different rules apply when the killer is a woman and the narrative is mental health plus “the system failed her.”
Reehil, a former Wall Street banker who converted after a pilgrimage to Medjugorje and later became an exorcist, did not pretend this is only a legal question. He said he believes Clancy has demons. He also said Christians are required to call evil by its name instead of baptizing it as “empathy.”
