Top WNBA prospect Royce White joined Fox News on Sunday to discuss his bid for a starting slot in the WNBA, arguing that until the league can “define the W in the name,” they should let him and other male basketball stars play.
White, a former NBA player and current Republican Senate candidate in Minnesota, declared for the WNBA draft last week, the Gateway Pundit reported. “I identify as a sometimes identifying transgender woman! My wig is in the mail,” he said.
White began by trolling the transgender insanity, telling Fox’s Griff Jenkins, “Right now, I’m just having a blast in my feminine era. I never thought that I was a woman.”
“You know, I’ve always trusted the science, and I thought I was a man my entire life. But you know, after further review, you know, a strong look at my personal preferences, it would appear that I am indeed sometimes identifying as a transgender woman,” he continued. “And I think it’s only fair I get a chance to play with some of my queens here in the twilight of my career, my athletic prime.”
On a more serious note, White told Jenkins, “It’s just astounding that the WNBA can’t define the W in the name, and I think we’re going through a very necessary conversation about who’s actually eligible to play in some of these professional sports leagues, I guess, on both sides of the gender spectrum.”
“But my goal is to help elevate the WNBA. I think the ticket prices and the attendance, you know, will soar. I think the audience, the live audience, will increase, and I think ultimately it’s good for the game. It’s going to help evolve the game,” he argued.
White further said that Enes Kanter Freedom and Lebron James, when he “wakes up one day and realizes he’s a you know a woman as well,” should be allowed to play.
Enes Freedom announced Friday that he was declaring himself a WNBA prospect after reviewing what he described as the league’s eligibility framework, saying he meets “every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA.”
When asked if the WNBA is at risk of plummeting its ratings and losing the millions of new viewers that tune in to watch stars like Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham, White described the WNBA bowing to the woke mob as “a herald of us losing a lot of things in this country.”
“We have to secure our elections, we have to restart the mass deportations, we have to start arresting some of these deep staters. I’m in huge favor of banning Sharia law and Marxism nationwide,” he added.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the WNBA is panicking over male players’ intentions to join the WNBA draft, holding crisis “listening sessions” and launching task-force meetings to address the issue without hurting anyone’s feelings.
In a memo to teams from Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, she called the issue of men competing in the WNBA a “complex and nuanced topic,” adding that the league will “always approach this topic thoughtfully, respectfully, and in alignment with the longstanding values of our league.”
