Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany went off on the fake news media for hyperventilating over the Lincoln Reflecting Pool.
Earlier this year President Trump announced he is renovating the “filthy” Reflecting Pool and said it will be colored “American flag blue.”
“You’re going to end up with a beautiful, beautiful reflecting pool, the way it’s supposed to be,” Trump said to reporters last month. “Much better than it ever was, actually.”
Trump’s renovations cost an estimated $1.5 million compared to the $34 million Obama spent on the Reflecting Pool.
The left immediately worked to stop President Trump’s continued work to make DC a more beautiful place.
A ‘preservation’ group filed a lawsuit to block President Trump from painting the Reflecting Pool blue.
“The vivid blue coating will fundamentally alter the visual and experiential character of the pool and the broader Lincoln Memorial Grounds landscape,” the group said in a complaint.
“The new coloration will cause the pool to resemble a large swimming pool rather than the reflective civic landscape it was designed to be, distorting the experience of the site for the millions of visitors who come to it each year,” the complaint said.
Leftists are also out there protesting the removal of algae from President Trump’s freshly renovated national landmark.

Kayleigh McEnany blasted the fake news media.
“This is par for the course for the media,” Kayleigh McEnany said.
“Remember how they handled East Palestine, Ohio? You know, the town that Pete Buttigieg abandoned after a train crashed and contaminated the water there?” she said.
“And what about the death of Iryna Zarutska? She was visibly terrified moments after being stabbed on a train in North Carolina. Where was there extensive, deep-dive coverage into the city’s soft-on-crime policies?” she added.
“And what about the angel families who have lost loved ones to vicious criminal illegal aliens that the Biden administration let in? Are we to believe that their stories are less important than algae in a pool that no one swims in?” Kayleigh McEnany said.
