After an 11-month investigation, the Clearwater Police Department has released its final 72-page report on the death of wrestling legend and unapologetic conservative icon Hulk Hogan.
The conclusion is crystal clear: No foul play. No criminal wrongdoing. Exclusively natural causes.
Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, passed away on July 24, 2025, at age 71 after suffering cardiac arrest at his Florida home.
As The Gateway Pundit first reported last summer, the initial medical findings pointed to acute myocardial infarction, a heart attack. It was also revealed that Hogan had been secretly battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) while dealing with atrial fibrillation.
Now the full police investigation, complete with interviews, medical record reviews, surveillance footage, and the family’s own private autopsy, has put every question to rest.
The District Six Medical Examiner’s Office and Clearwater PD ruled Hogan’s death an “attended natural death.”
The Clearwater Police Department stated that after an exhaustive review of the evidence, there was “no evidence to indicate the death of Terry Bollea was anything other than natural” and “no evidence to indicate any criminal wrongdoing related to his death.” The case has now been officially closed as non-criminal.
His wife, Sky Daily, and son, Nick Bollea, arranged a private autopsy that reached the identical conclusion: Hogan died “exclusively from compelling natural disease, with no reasonable traumatic or terminal toxicologic contributions.”

Police closed the investigation on Friday, releasing details of the 911 call made on the day of his death as well as information from an interview with his occupational therapist.
In the 911 call, his wife Sky Daily Hogan is recorded saying, “My husband — it doesn’t seem like he’s breathing.”
According to the report, home health aide Dana Swinton said that she, Sky Daily Hogan, and occupational therapist Justin McCamey were all at the residence when Hogan stopped breathing. McCamey, who had been Hogan’s therapist for only two weeks, had arrived roughly 10 minutes before the incident. The three attempted CPR before the fire department arrived.
The roughly 70-page report also includes statements from officers who responded to and surveyed the scene at the former wrestling star’s Eldorado Avenue home. One account notes that a firefighter was called to assist with moving Hogan from the residence, while other members of the Clearwater Fire Department were already performing lifesaving measures.
McCamey told police that “Mr. Bollea’s health has been very poor ever since the surgery. Mr. Bollea has had approximately 20-30 various knee, hip, and back surgeries over the years.”
Sky Daily Hogan told police that her husband had undergone spinal fusion surgery on his neck approximately six weeks before his death. Prior to that procedure, he had also had a heart operation and had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, for which he had received one week of chemotherapy.
This final report comes as a direct rebuke to the disgusting, hateful reaction from radical leftists who celebrated Hogan’s death simply because he was MAGA.
As The Gateway Pundit reported in August 2025, Democrat Alachua County School Board Chair Sarah Rockwell posted on Facebook: “Good. One less MAGA in the world.”
She later issued a weak, insincere apology but then doubled down at a public meeting, refusing further accountability and claiming her words were “protected speech.” Florida education officials eventually sanctioned the board, but the mask had already slipped.
Hulk Hogan wasn’t just a wrestling superstar. He was the ultimate Real American. He ripped his shirt off on stage at the 2024 Republican National Convention, endorsed Donald Trump to thunderous applause, and never apologized for loving his country or fighting the radical left’s woke agenda.
President Trump himself paid tribute, calling Hogan a “great friend” who was “MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart.”
