The Gateway Pundit reported on former President Barack Obama’s complaint about the “politicization” of the Department of Justice.

During a pre-recorded appearance on Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Obama went after Trump for allegedly targeting his enemies via the DOJ.

“We can’t overcome the politicization of our justice system, the awesome power of the state,” Obama complained.

“The White House shouldn’t be able to direct the Attorney General to go around prosecuting whoever the president wants prosecuted.”

”The AG is the people’s lawyer, it’s not the president’s consigliere.”

“You can’t have a situation in which whoever is in charge of the government starts using that to go after their political enemies or reward their friends.”

DeSantis hit back with one simple zinger, “The Russia collusion hoax would like a word.”

In 2016, under the Obama administration, the FBI opened a counterintelligence investigation to examine possible links between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russian officials, including any potential coordination.”

In January 2026, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released a bombshell report containing new, damning information.

Documents shared with reporters revealed it was Obama, and FBI and CIA leadership at the time, who led the Russiagate Conspiracy to sabotage President Trump before he even stepped into office. Obama did this knowing the entire story was manufactured and not a word of it was true.

Gabbard released one House Intelligence Report that had been locked up in a CIA vault for almost a decade.

In July, it was reported that Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan were under FBI investigation over their involvement in Russiagate.

In March, former FBI Director James Comey was subpoenaed in the Justice Department’s Russiagate investigation.

In November, a federal grand jury subpoenaed Brennan, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, and former FBI counterintelligence special agent Peter Strzok.
