The DHS agents involved in the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, the far-left armed agitator who was fatally shot last weekend, have been place on administrative leave.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin said this is part of standard protocol after an officer-involved shooting.

Two of the agents who discharged their weapons were placed on leave.

New details about the fatal shooting Alex Pretti emerged this week.

37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti of South Minneapolis appeared to resist arrest and attack federal law enforcement agents before he was fatally shot over the weekend.

A new government report sent to Congress reveals two DHS agents discharged their weapons during a struggle as Pretti resisted arrest.

CBP agents tried to take Pretti into custody after he refused to move out of the way, but a struggle ensued and he was shot multiple times.

“Pretti resisted CBP personnel’s efforts and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, a BPA yelled, ‘He’s got a gun!’ multiple times,” the report said, according to CBS News.

“Approximately five seconds later, a [Border Patrol agent] discharged his CBP-issued Glock 19 and a [CBP officer] also discharged his CBP-issued Glock 47 at Pretti. After the shooting, a BPA advised he had possession of Pretti’s firearm,” CBP added in the report. “The BPA subsequently cleared and secured Pretti’s firearm in his vehicle.”

According to CNN, Pretti broke a rib after getting tackled by agents as he attempted to impede an immigration operation just one week before his death.

Department of Homeland Security agents had their body cameras on during the confrontation and fatal shooting of leftist armed agitator Alex Pretti.

“Investigators are reviewing body-camera videos from immigration agents in the fatal shooting of Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson confirmed to NBC News,” NBC News reported.
