The British people have already had enough of the Labour government of ‘King of Freebies’ Keir Starmer, even though he has barely been four months as a Prime Minister.

So much so, in fact, that every hour, another 100 thousand citizens add their signatures to a petition calling for General election to be held at once – and now it has broken an impressive threshold.

Daily Mail reported:

“A petition demanding a fresh general election has surged past a million signatures [update: TWO million] amid mounting fury at Labour’s Budget tax raid. The petition on the Parliament website, posted by a pub owner and complaining that Keir Starmer has ‘gone back on promises’, has been gaining over 100,000 backers an hour.”

Opposition Tories see the avalanche of signatures as an ‘expression of anger that Labour lied’.

These numbers are wrecking nerves in Downing Street.

This comes as polls have been consistently showing that Labour took a massive hit from the troubled first four months in power.

“An internal impact assessment last week revealed that removing the winter fuel allowance from millions of pensioners could push 100,000 more into poverty.”

The economy is struggling, and inflation creeps higher, while Labour raises taxes and gets involved in multiple scandals.

The petition posted on the Parliament website was created by a pub owner and states that Keir Starmer has broken promises.

“Mr. [Michael] Westwood, who runs a pub, told the Express: ‘Not in my wildest dreams did I think this was going to take off like it has. The British public feel like they have been betrayed with the promises that were told in the lead to the election and then what has been delivered since – it looks nothing like what was promised. I think people have had enough, people have seen what’s happened over in America as well, and I think that’s had a knock-on effect that, actually, if people stand together and vote then we can make a change’.”

The government doesn’t have to comply with a petition, but in this case, the volume of signatures suggests that a debate in Parliament could well be scheduled.

Support for Labour has fallen to a new record post-election low.

“Sir Keir’s party is now three points behind the Tories – and just six ahead of Reform – down two on 25 percent after a week of battles over its plan to make agriculturalists pay a low rate of inheritance tax. It marks a dramatic fall from its post-election high of 39 percent, which gave it an 11-point lead over the Conservatives.”

Another poll shows that almost 75% of voters believe the UK has gotten worse under Sir Keir’s leadership.

The Prime Minister has also spent too much time abroad since the election in July. Last week’s G20 summit in Brazil marked Sir Keir’s 26th day out of the UK since July’s election.

“The source said: ‘Much of it was unavoidable, but not all of it, and he knows it doesn’t look great to be sunning himself in Rio de Janeiro while farmers are protesting and pensioners are freezing’.”

The pressure is on!
