Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, the conservative Republican who ousted Liz Cheney in Wyoming a few years back, has already been declared winner in her race for U.S. Senate.

This is great news. She is an important voice in the Republican Party.

The Hill reports:

Wyoming Rep. Harriet Hageman (R) is projected to ascend to the upper chamber, according to Decision Desk HQ.

Hageman defeated Democrat James W. Byrd in the race to succeed Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R), who opted not to seek a second term.

The House Republican served two terms in the lower chamber after defeating former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney in the 2022 GOP primary. A staunch ally of President Trump, Hageman notched his endorsement in 2025.

“I know Harriet well, and she is a TOTAL WINNER!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Harriet has ALWAYS delivered for Wyoming, and will continue to do so in the United States Senate.”

Hageman posted this message to Twitter/X:

Four years ago, you gave me the honor and responsibility that go with serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, and I have worked hard every day to defend your Constitutional rights and look out for your interests in every way possible. I will now move across the Capitol to the Senate, where I will again put my shoulder to the wheel and be the champion Wyoming wants in Washington, D.C.

We are about to engage in a battle for the future of this nation, and as we all recognize, the looming fight with the left is about much more than just policy differences. It’s about the very survival of this country as it has been and as we know it. Are we a capitalist nation, or will we slide precipitously into communism? The left hates our founding principles of freedom, just as they hate our strength and prosperity. A strong United States of America embarrasses them, so they aim to tear it all down. And I aim to stand in their way.

Congratulations to Senator-Elect Hageman.

There’s no blue wave in Wyoming tonight, that’s for sure.
