The University of Texas System issued a pointed statement Thursday after a viral video showed UT San Antonio student Isa Casahuga-Lemgrube gleefully reading a poem at a Turning Point USA campus event that celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Board of Regents Chairman Kevin Eltife and Chancellor John Zerwas said they were aware of the incident and declared, “We will not tolerate the incitement of violence or the threat of incitement of violence by any member of our UT community. UT San Antonio will handle this incident consistent with the law.”

The student, who introduced herself at the microphone as “Pamper Baby,” told the crowd she had taken a Plan B and felt guilty as an immigrant before launching into a deranged parody of “The Night Before Christmas.”

She recited lines including “It was the night before the Kirkiversary and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse” and “as we solemnly remembered a shot to the neck,” then invited people to a “Squirt for Kirk” event.

Afterward, she told Texas Youth Summit founder Christian Collins he was “brave” for being on campus “with no protection, no nothing, no like neck brace.”

Collins posted the video of the incident, writing that she read the poem “with such glee,” and saying he will pray for her.

Internet sleuths quickly identified the student as Casahuga-Lemgruber, a UTSA student in the class of 2030 majoring in International Relations and Diplomacy.

She attended St. Agnes Academy.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a website was registered under her name, isacasahuga.com, and published the poem in full along with family details identifying her mother as Houston realtor Paula Lemgruber Casahuga and her father as Guillem Casahuga, a partner at Arthur D. Little.

The site states that her parents are from Brazil and Spain. Her mother, who also appears to be a leftist, referred to her children as “citizens of the world.”

There have been mass calls for the family to be deported.

UT San Antonio spokesperson Joe Izbrand also told the San Antonio Express-News that the university is aware of the incident and takes the matter seriously.

“The sentiments expressed do not reflect the values of our university,” Izbrand stated. “The university is reviewing the circumstances through its established student conduct processes, consistent with applicable state and federal law and university policies.”

Citing FERPA privacy protections, the school declined further comment on any specific disciplinary action.

Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.
